Dee's Alaska Adventure

Well the bottom line is that to this point I have biked/ran/walked 11 days. 7 days bicycling for a total of 220 miles, an average of 32 miles a day with the longest being 38 miles, which was yesterday. I ran 4 days a total of 70 miles for an average of 17.5 miles per day with a long day of 22 miles. Not my original goal by a long shot, but fun, challenging, and a definite work out. I do think I have lost a few pounds!

    You are wise not to aggravate that knee. I don't want you making excuses when we climb Mt. Adams together, "Well, I rode 1000 miles on my bike and ran 350 miles, mostly uphill, guess my knee is too sore..." Rest it up, get healthy, and let's climb Mt. Adams together in 7 hours or less! Mike
