Dee's Alaska Adventure
I preached a sermon recently about heaven. In it I said that when we get there we will understand everything that confuses us now. All day long my Mom is asking me questions about what she sees out the window. I was saying, "Mom, I don't know" and she would give me this look like "what did I send you to school for?" now I say, "when you get to heaven you will know"! At first I think she thought I was saying that I thought she was going to die soon, but then it seemed to make sense. A lot of what we see and experience makes no sense to us, we don't understand it, it confuses us. God knows and some day we will to. There is an amazing security and peace in that statement if we trust God. But many are prideful enough to think that they have a right to know now and their confusion causes them to push God out of their lives instead of trust Him and grow close to Him and look forward to the day they enter into heaven and understand everything.
